HOW
TO GET INVOLVED
_________________

You are invited to come to discuss
the issues that affect us and what we can do for both our own
development and others. For those new to
theosophical thought, it just requires an open, enquiring mind and a
willingness to listen to new points of view, and an appreciation that to adjust
to new paradigms requires patience and self-examination.
Theosophy is simply a presentation of the perennial
philosophy, and is a system that's increasingly widely recognised as necessary
to our happiness and progress. It shows a path that is wholly beneficent
when studied along the original, ethical lines of the founders of the movement,
and is the trusted route used by mystics and true
philosophers since time began.
The
method of tuition used at the Lodge is of attending and participating in talks,
debating life issues, and engaging in one's own reading, study and questioning. The texts taken up are from the writings of many the world's sacred traditions,
which have been informed and decoded by the keys given in the modern theosophical literature of Mme Blavatsky and William
Q Judge, the two founders of the 1875 Theosophical Movement.
Group and individual study
allow each one to proceed at their pace. No personal details
are asked of visitors and no commitments expected beyond those
determined by themselves.
Continued study of
the esoteric teachings by means of this tried and tested programme is deeply
rewarding, as has been proven by many who have made it a lifetime's association.
