Welcome to the home page of the London Centre where you will find details of our activities, the programme of events and study courses and other resources. The aim of the group is to form a centre of brotherhood for the study and practice of living a more meaningful life and it welcomes participation by all who share its aims and interest.
Seminar on The Masters Saturday 22nd June 2013 “Who Are The Masters of Wisdom” from 3:00 - 6:15 pm in the Library, 62 Queens Gardens. Doors open at 2:30 pm, admission free. More on this & other seminars... Sunday activities: TALKS, STUDY & DEBATE on the original Theosophical writings. Suitable for all, especially new enquirers, it runs from 7:00 - 8:15 pm in the Library, 62 Queens Gardens. Wednesday activities: GROUP STUDY COURSES Two courses are available, the first 7:00 - 8:20 pm on the Bhagavad Gita and The Secret Doctrine, and second from 8:30 - 9:45 pm on Isis Unveiled. All welcome, no need to book. Note the Wednesday Course ends on 26th June, see Summer Programme for the next courses. BOOKS a wide selection of books are available for purchase after the meetings, or by email or telephone. Many years ago Boris de Zirkoff wrote on how "A Rebirth of Ethics" can be really and effectively brought about by theosophical ideas. That work has been going on quietly, some may say too quietly, but today we see its many fruits and can be encouraged by them. There remains the ever-present need for a sound basis on which to spread such robust ethics for the coming age, especially now that the previously accepted relativistic system of morals have obviously shown their weaknesses. The Centre is a free and voluntary association of students, it is open to all enquirers and visitors, no membership is required and events are free.
