A Rebirth of Ethics -
now and towards the future
de Zirkoff wrote on how "A Rebirth of Ethics" can be effectively brought
about through the enlivening effect of theosophical ideas. That is the great work going on
now since 1875, and so now we see its fruits by the recognition in the
"mind of the race of a new set of paradigms,. ones of universality,
compassion, co-operation... which must inevitably replace that now outmoded
model of progress based on separateness, competition and a mechanical view of
evolution that was never intended by Darwin.
However there remains the ever-present need of how to spread such
a robust system of ethics in these times. Today the challenge is as obvious as
ever it was now that the previous, relativistic system has so obviously shown its
serious minded will never give up asking - in them the quest for truth is innate
and unquenchable. The key
concepts given here seek, however poorly, to answer some of the Qs that come
